My client, a very successful growing Recruitment Agency is seeking to hire an Associate Director/Director level manager to manage a team of 8 consultants of varying level. (you will be managing managers) and will be responsible for the day to day management and performance of the team. This is a newly created role as an additional management level due to growth in the business.

This is a billing role, and you will have your own recruitment sales target to hit. (Mostly on delivery side, filling senior level roles and leading the team visibly from the front)

The main purpose of the role is to take ownership of the running of 2 of their main teams, reporting direct to the MD and being a part of the senior leadership team.

The role

  • Make sure team is running effectively
  • Support the Teams BD activity and efforts
  • responsible for organisation of your team (you can make changes to the teams structure etc and make sure it is running efficiently)
  • Ensure Processes and procedures are being followed by the team
  • Provide or organise training if needed working closely with Ops team to identify needs
  • Set targets and manage KPI's for the team
  • Manage promotions and develop your team through the career ladder
  • Leading weekly team meetings
  • Months 1-1's with team and managing performance reviews
  • Coaching senior team members on management skills and getting the most out of their teams
  • Inspiring and managing from the front
  • mentor and train new team members and assist in hiring process. Analyse which headcount you need for the team and be an integral part in hiring processes.
  • Champion marketing activity in the team, and lead from the front in terms of creating content and encouraging team to do the same. Working closely with ops team.
  • Manage key client accounts and ensure strong customer service for all clients.
  • Negotiate terms with new clients

Requirements

Ideally you will have experience managing teams and come from a White Collar Property ,Residential real estate or house building recruitment market.

  • Ideally you will have 5-10 years recruitment experience with at least 3 years managing teams.
  • Ideally you will have managed managers or team leads and managed at least 5 people.
  • You will have experience of performance managing teams
  • You will need to have come from a 360 agency background not a Talent Acquisition or delivery background.
  • Great billing track record yourself.
  • Process and data driven
  • A strategic thinker that can look at the big picture
  • Someone that is able to motivate and inspire the team and set a standard in the business.
  • Team player that wants to elevate the success of every team member.
