The Role
Business Development Manager for this recruitment company is a role that is fully integrated with the recruitment team, sharing information and receiving leads from the team, working with the CEO to pick up new business, individual roles or larger accounts and then working to handover the work to the team who will deliver it. The role will involve sourcing leads, making first contact, keeping in touch and building a relationship and the whole sales funnel. Depending on your experience in recruitment, the CEO will assist with closing deals and attending pitches. You will be responsible for the sales strategy and the logging and administering of the sales process into the CRM.
The business has a lot of history, success, testimonials and case studies that you can use to sell to clients, and you will be working for someone with 23 years in specialist recruitment.

- A strong uncapped commission that is in brackets to hit, increasing as you do sales throughout the year. As an example, if you brought in £200k in sales, you would take home just over £42k in commission for yourself.

What are they looking for?
- There are two types of profiles the company are looking for. You might have 360 Recruitment Experience or Business Development Experience in a recruitment company OR Business Development experience in a professional/ scientific/ Medical industry.
- The most important experience to have had is lead generation, making approaches and managing the sales process to pick up new clients.
- You will need to have a strong interest in medical, scientific and pharmaceutical subjects. Maybe you find yourself googling rare diseases or you have a personal reason for wanting pharma businesses to do well, or perhaps you have a medical degree or a scientific one. A strong interest, personal experience or academic background in the area goes a very long way in this industry.
