£30 to £50k basic plus commission

The Basics

  • Work from home 4 days a week (1 day a week in Edinburgh or London - more if you prefer)

  • If you like doing BD and don't want to account manage this is an option too to come in as a Business Development Consultant

  • Professional Staffing recruitment company with multiple UK offices
  • 50-100 people in size

The Role

  • First consultant hire into a new build area for the business
  • There is a delivery consultant to assist with roles and the hiring of incoming work
  • Considerable investment has been put into expanding into Public Sector Recruitment
  • Frameworks have been won and top level relationships have been developed, roles are coming into the business already
  • You will be a networker and new business development consultant to build warm relationships with government departments, agencies and bodies that are part of the frameworks that have been won. This means that the clients are identified, they have permission to use agencies, they have terms negotiated already, they just need to trust the person who will fill their roles they need to release them to you, so you need to introduce the services of the business and yourself. Once you start filling positions with one client more from that client will quickly follow.

Requirements

  • At least 2 strong years in recruitment in the same company, having tried and tested learnt BD and candidate sourcing skills. Must be a well rounded 360 consultant/ BD professional within recruitment
  • Open to people from all recruitment backgrounds
  • You must have recruited into the UK for at least two years
  • Having a strong knowledge of public sector structures, processes and nuances would be amazing, as a minimum you must have some awareness of what core government departments are and do
  • You must be a strong communicator and natural relationship builder
